Practical Biochemistry for Medical Students

The present textbook “Practical Biochemistry for Medical Students” was prepared in accordance with the approved curriculum of Biochemistry for medical students of the Faculty of Medicine at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. For each practical exercise subject, preparational plan and topics of the upcoming tasks are presented. The protocols contain basic theoretical discussion questions and points for practical work with the possibility of visualizing the results on the topic. The practical tasks are aimed at familiarizing students with some of the most widely used experimental procedures in biochemistry and the clinical laboratory and their application in medical practice.

The textbook is intended for preparation on the practicals of Biochemistry for the first and the second year master's degree students, specialty "Medicine" of the Faculty of Medicine at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".
